Lusciously soft and warm, this lace neck muff is designed so that it can be worn in either a cowl or yoke style. Only two simple lace pattern rows are used to produce the zig zag ribbed lace stitch with pleasing reversibility and softly scalloped edges.

Since this project takes only a relatively small amount of yarn, it is ideal for indulging in a luxury fiber such as qiviut.

9" length, 18" collar circumference, 30" circumference at yoke edge. 150 yards lace weight or light fingering weight yarn. 25 stitches/4 inches over stitch pattern on smaller needles, size US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle suggested. Also uses size US 7 / 4.5 mm and size US 10 / 6 mm circular needles. Written stitch instructions.
