The smoke ring is begun with a strip of lace edging, then stitches are picked up and knit in the round in another lace stitch pattern. A decorative bind off completes the smoke ring knitted tube.

2 sizes - 22" [24"] circumference and 18" length, 300 [325] yards laceweight or fingering weight yarn, 5 ½ stitches/inch, size US 6 / 4.0 mm needles suggested. Shown in in Hunt Valley Cashmere 2-ply yarn. Written stitch instructions.
