Adult medium. 350 yards sportweight yarn, 6 ½ stitches/inch, size US / 3.0 mm needles suggested. Charted and written stitch instructions.

Solid and variegated color sample models of this design are shown, each resulting in a very different look to this single design! The solid color model was knitted in Haneke Exotics alpaca/angora/merino yarn. The other sample model was knitted in handspun variegated wool and silk yarn. Do you see how the swags are emphasized with the changes in color? With the popularity of commercially available yarns in long color runs, you now don't have to spin your own yarn to get this effect.
