Oak LeafHeartStrings knitting pattern #A54Lace knit in the shape of a leaf. Many possibilities for use as a small doily, tasseled bookmark, medallion embellishments, or just because it is fun to knit! 
Size of your leaf will depend on needle and thread used. Guidelines in pattern for anywhere from #30 crochet thread to size 5 pearl cotton. The picture shows an assortment of sizes and threads. Starting on the left with the tasseled bookmark and proceeding clockwise: DMC Cebelia green size 10 on size 0 US needles. Silk/rayon yarn on size 1 needles. Caron Wildflowers "Ambrosia" on size 2/0. Size 30 crochet thread on size 3/0 needles.
