Errant Ankles Lace SocksHeartStrings knitting pattern #A67A simple lace pattern makes into a zig zag ribbed sock with a slight scalloped edge. Choice of plain or banded heel flap where the pattern extends downward on each side of a modified square heel. Instep transitions from the lace pattern into a 5,1 rib and ends with a swirl decrease toe.

Adult medium. Planned leg height (top of heel to top edge of cuff) is approximately 7¼". Sport weight yarn: 225 - 300 yards depending on desired foot length. 6½ stitches/inch, size US 2 / 3.0 mm needles suggested. Charted and written stitch instructions.
