V-Collar DickeyHeartStrings knitting pattern #A8The collar of this dickey shapes itself magically with a clever bias-knit twisted rib pattern. The longer V-shaped front yoke is suitable for wearing under suit jacket or open collar.
The V-Collar Dickey is handsome knitted in a variety of yarns and colors. Choose solid colors for a classic tailored look, or in variegated yarns for a casual look. Shown in a silky mercerized Egyptian cotton. More examples knitted in variegated yarn handspun from dyed wool roving and another in a solid color cotton. Adult medium. 220 yards sportweight yarn, 5 ½ stitches/inch, size US 6 / 4.0 mm needles suggested. Written stitch instructions.
