Instructions for Digital-Only Sales Affiliate Program Links

As an approved HeartStrings e-Patterns Sales Affiliate in the Digital-Only Sales Affiliate Program, you use Shopatron catalog links to sell digital downloads of HeartStrings products such as e-Patterns, tutorials and mini-classes. This page provides examples of the link code and how you might integrate it into your website or email promotions.

For each available digital product you want to sell, you create an affiliate link which you can place in emails, or combine them with images or text to create your own purchase buttons and purchase links for your web site.

The affiliate link you create for selling HeartStrings e-Patterns contains your affiliate id (so that you get credit for the sales) and the product id (so the customer can download or view the pattern from their Shopatron account library as soon as they have completed credit card payment).

  Change "hswww" to your own affiliate id. When setting up your own links, you substitute the affiliate id number I have assigned you. If you need me to look up your affiliate id and send to you again, let me know.
  
  Note: the affiliate id is called an 'order source' (os) by Shopatron
• product_id=HFAA23DL
  
  Change the "A23" portion to the product id of the digital product you want to sell. In this example, A23 is the product id for the EenieMenieMiniMo Socks downloadable PDF pattern. Here is an example of the link code used with a "buy now" button image:

Note: Instead of "http://www.heartstringsfiberarts.com/buyegoods.jpg", of course you'd probably want to substitute your own graphic button image.

Note: Instead of the words "Buy EenieMenieMiniMo Socks pdf pattern", of course substitute whatever appropriate words you want.
