"I just read the Color mini-tutorial and although I have taken several color classes at conferences, you added new ways of looking at color mixtures. My mantra is "Color is Everything" so I am thrilled to think about it in more ways now."

Outstanding Personal Service
Support full-service yarn stores
Unrelated to the fiber arts per se (but I will bring it around to that topic again in a moment), I was playing plumber this week.
You know the feeling when there is a dripping faucet and you put off fixing it? And then you finally can't stand it any longer, get out the screw drivers and wrenches, there are piece-parts all disassembled, and you are in a near panic about the replacement parts needed and if you are going to get things back together again? (Well at least that is what happens to me in these home-maintenance encounters that my dear hubby used to take care before he lost his battle with cancer.)
I whizzed down to my local hardware store just moments before closing, and a kind employee patiently stepped me through the replacement parts I needed and explained in detail how to get things put back together again.
Thank goodness for the full-service stores that still exist!
Now back to the connection to the fiber arts. I just want to encourage you to let your local yarn store know how much you appreciate them being there and any other businesses that give you outstanding personal service.
Support them today so they will be there tomorrow.

HeartStrings FiberArts is a wholesale pattern company. I encourage individuals to visit your local yarn store or check the Store Locator to purchase hard-copy patterns and downloadable e-patterns. If you don't already have a favorite retailer from whom to buy, you can use the HeartStrings online catalog at
Shopatron. This service will
find a retailer with the patterns you want in stock to mail to you right away.
