"I just read the Color mini-tutorial and although I have taken several color classes at conferences, you added new ways of looking at color mixtures. My mantra is "Color is Everything" so I am thrilled to think about it in more ways now."

Lace Doily Beret
HeartStrings knitting pattern #H03
This beret is constructed in the style of a lace doily with a center start and repeating medallions. The beret is flattering and lightweight for fashionable wear without flattening your hairdo.
Detailed instructions are included for a type of circular center start that can help you practice for actual doilies you might want to make later in lighter weight threads and smaller needles.

Once I started making these berets I couldn't stop! So I made one in each color that Susan at Spinning Bunny had sent me. The colors from lower right to left are Bark, Sunrise, Blueberry Pie and Jeans. Enjoy.
