Allow 225 yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn for 5" x 58" scarf, or desired length with yardage adjustment. 4½ stitches/inch, size US 7 / 4.5 mm needles suggested. Shown in Tilli Tomas Pure and Simple 100% spun silk, color Ruby Wine.

Easy enough for an experienced beginner with advancing knitting skills. Both charted and written line-by-line instructions for the Interlocking Hearts panel are included in the pattern.
