Thinking of You Scarf

HeartStrings knitting pattern #H40

Say "I'm thinking of you" with a hand knit scarf of lace hearts. Simple and quick to knit on just 29 stitches.

The scarf begins with a wavy eyelet rib stitch symbolizing the twists and turns of life, and ends with a band of interlocking hearts to express the bonds of loving friendship and support.

Thinking of You Scarf in Tilli Tomas 100% silk

A retailer will ship directly to you.

Allow 225 yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn for 5" x 58" scarf, or desired length with yardage adjustment. 4 ½ stitches/inch, size US 7 / 4.5 mm needles suggested. Shown in Tilli Tomas Pure and Simple 100% spun silk, color Ruby Wine.

Easy enough for an experienced beginner with advancing knitting skills. Both charted and written line-by-line instructions for the Interlocking Hearts panel are included in the pattern.

Please consider knitting a red 'Thinking of You" scarf to donate to WomenHeart, the organization devoted to improving the quality of life and healthcare for women living with heart disease. More information is at the website for the Mississippi chapter of WomenHeart and at the National Coalition of Women with Heart Disease resources website.
