HeartStrings - Have a Colorful Splendor Autumn

Autumn greetings -

Although I know I have been rather tardy in getting newsletters out, I want to reassure 
that I am here and actively involved in serving you. I did also want to give you a brief 
status on the lack of newly released patterns in the past couple of months. With 
travels, Dad being in and out of hospital for the past few months (he is doing much 
better now, thanks), and then computer problems, not much designing work has been 
completed. I know that you have come to expect a quality product from HeartStrings. 
So I believe you will agree that I should take the time necessary to do my best in 
getting out the upcoming new patterns.

A few items to note -- 

>> Interweave Knits Magazine: The #H41 Colorful Splendor Lace Scarf is featured in 
the Top 10 Picks for Fall advertorial, and the #A49 Flared Lace Smoke Ring will be 
featured in the Top 10 Picks for Winter advertorial. Just wanted to let you know so 
you could prepare for customers requesting these patterns.

new book _The Best of Interweave Knits_, starting on page 103. If you have 
customers interested in lace knitting and are tentative in taking the next steps to knit 
lace, and you stock this title, this would be a good book and article to point them to. 

>> Boo! Halloween Knitting Treats. Don't forget to promote these two delightful 
patterns to put your customers in the Halloween spirit.
