What is Your Favorite Autumn Color?

Hi {!name_fix} -

I hope you are enjoying a celebration of Fall by knitting along on the little oak leaf, our October project for Bits of Lace. I'd love to hear what favorite autumn colors you've been using for your little leaves. Please feel free to post links to pictures, too!

If you are not in the mood yet, this comment from Linda may inspire you to knit a leaf (or 2 or more!):

"Thank you sooooo much for sharing your patterns and tips. I have learned so much since you started this site for all of us. I love the leaf, made the leaf out of cotton and it has made the best coaster ever. Thinking about knitting some of these up for little Christmas gifts. Thanks again and God Bless."

The Bits of Lace Oak Leaf pattern page is still available under the Free Membership Pattern menu if you have not gotten it yet. Be sure you are logged in so that the system knows you are a privileged member and you will see the Download button under the price (rather than the Buy button) which means the pattern is free to you.

The Lurking Question: Now, what are you going to do with it? Read about Uses for Little Lacy Leaf Medallions.

A simple lace edging was the jumping-off point for the Bits of Lace Oak Leaf. This bit-size tutorial will help you grow even More Ideas for Using Elements of Lace Edgings in New Ways.

It seems like this month is going by faster than ever. I guess it is like that old saying "time flies when you are having fun". Remember that we will soon be closing out the month and beginning a new bit-sized project for next month!

Happy fall knitting
, Jackie E-S
