Beaded Winter Wonderland Socks

This Beaded Winter Wonderland design features theme socks reminiscent of a winter scene. There are beaded stylized Norwegian snowflakes, snowdrifts, pine trees, and lightly fallen snow. The cuff is sideways knitted in garter stitch; the remainder of sock is knitted in the round.

Adult Medium[Large]. 325[425] yards fingering weight yarn, 8 stitches/inch, size US 1 / 2.5 mm needles suggested. 6[8] yards of a fine brushed yarn for the "snow" accent e.g. mohair or angora. Size 8/0 glass seed beads - main color 912[1144] approx 30[40]g, alternate color used for trees 400[480] approx 12[15]g.
