The Sock Journal is an encore collection of twelve all-new monthly-themed sock knitting patterns presented in the tradition of The Sock Calendar book series.

There's something for everyone, in sizes ranging from newborn to adult extra-large. The designs feature myriad different styles and techniques. All patterns are supported by clearly-written, generously-illustrated instructions, making these socks a delight for the beginner to knit, as well as offering inspiration and flexibility for the experienced knitter.

Models were knitted in yarns by Lorna's Laces, Brown Sheep, Louet, Dale of Norway, Mountain Colors, Garnstudio, Ornagh Filati, Lang, and Heirloom. Both generic yarn specifications and the brand-yarns used in models are indicated to assist you in substituting your own favorites or choosing to knit as pictured.

As with the original The Sock Calendar book, other popular features of The Sock Journal are the beautiful full-color photographs, write-in perpetual daily journal pages for personal entries, and handy sets of monthly reference calendars through 2009.
