Waves and Flowers Lace SweaterHeartStrings knitting pattern #W1The Waves and Flowers shell is a classic fit short-sleeved lace sweater, knit in a pleasing composition of lace waves, flower motifs, and staggered eyelets. Styled to be worn alone with skirt or slacks, or under a suit coat or blazer. The wave lace pattern forms a natural scalloped edging and is featured on the lower body and sleeve borders.
The motifs in the pattern instructions are scaled for each size, so you always get the same pleasing composition shown here. 3 sizes, 35(39¼,43½)". 750(850,950) yards sportweight yarn, 5½ stitches/inch, 6 US /4.0 mm needles suggested. Shown in smallest size made with 7-50g skeins of Tahki Cotton Classic, color 3006. Charted stitch instructions.
