I Hate to Purl

Projects to make using only knit stitches

Do you have a huge dislike of purling and are looking for patterns where you can just work away in knit stitch only? Or, maybe it's not that you particularly dislike purling, but rather that achy joints and arthritis have begun to make it just too painful sometimes to enjoy your knitting when there are a lot of purl stitches?

Here's a collection of non-purl HeartStrings patterns; i.e. they are just garter stitch knitted flat, or are constructed circularly and use only knit-type stitches.

If you've been avoiding purling, I hope this inspires you to enjoy one of the beautiful HeartStrings non-purl patterns today!

Note: There are a few projects included in this listing that use very little purl; hardly a reason to avoid these otherwise great all-knit-stitch patterns. I've noted these exceptions, just in case you want to avoid them nevertheless.
