Knitted Sock Patterns
Sock knitting patterns using traditional cuff-down techniques
This portion of the Jackie E-S Sock Design Collections is devoted to sock knitting using traditional cuff-down techniques. To keep the Sock Collections web catalog of reasonable length and load time for you, this web page includes only those designs in non-lace stitch patterns. I welcome you to also take a look at the Lace Socks section for more traditional cuff-down patterns.
Retailers selling these and other HeartStrings patterns are listed in the Store Locator. For your convenience, you may also on-line and a retail store that has the patterns you want will ship directly to you.

Rainbow Socks
Pattern #S16.
The concept for these colorful tie-dyed looking socks came from a friend who is an avid Arlo Guthrie fan. The socks are easily fitted and comfortable wearing because of the simple ribbed stitch pattern that I designed for a good amount of elasticity. The slipped stitches also add a bit of design interest while nicely breaking up the variegated yarn colors.
