HeartStrings Sunset Infinity Wrap

Hi knitting friends,

Isn't the color above pretty? It is the new Ice Strawberry color in Mini Mochi from Crystal Palace Yarns. It's shown knitted in my new Sunset pattern for HeartStrings now available and with more info later in this newsletter.

I've got a lot more to share this month, too. Hope you enjoy the newsletter!
Happy summer knitting, Jackie E-S

I'm excited to share with you these 3 new patterns. Click on the pictures to link to the HeartStrings FiberArts website with large photos and more info. Left to right:

SUNSET
Circle your shoulders in a soft glow of color when the air starts to cool at sunset. The beads give just a hint of light as though the last rays of sun are reflecting off wisps of clouds on the horizon. Pattern #H88

FLAMES OF FALL
Delight yourself with the color and texture of Flames of Fall. Beads and flames of lace endue a soft glow of warmth in this pleasingly reversible stole. Pattern #A146

LOGANBERRY
Loganberry is a very lacy crescent shawl with cable lace edging, making it perfect as a small shawl project for summertime cool knitting. Pattern #A185
Psssst - Look at the sidebar of this newsletter for a chance to win the pattern and yarn from Mountain Colors to make this shawl.

Beaded Ball Hand Therapy

Gail W writes about the Beaded Stress Ball pattern :

"Mom's fingers were digging into her palm and one of your balls has worked wonders - she can now move her fingers and never lets go of her stress ball. I had to make several so I could wash them :=)

Thanks so much for sharing your talent - I really enjoy your patterns!

Christmas in July at Bits of Lace

This month's project for "Antique" Satin and Lace Ornament at Bits of Lace 2012 showcases a lovely Victorian-style ornament with a dainty lace edging and knitted-in beads.

Even if you have not used tiny thread and tiny needles, this bit-sized project is just large enough to give you practice while not being intimidating. The beads are optional embellishment, but it's an easy project for stringing and knitting with beads if you've been wanting to try this.

Whether you are new to lace, or just want to have fun with some simple and interesting skill-building projects, we welcome you for Bits of Lace 2012 at KnitHeartStrings.com. Joining is free!

"Antique" Satin and Lace Ornament will be available in the Free Membership Pattern area only through July 31, 2012. Get it now ...
